2024 Commission Prices - All in USD

Do note that all prices are subject to change, and your commission may cost more depending on its complexity.Complexity fees are percentage-based. Certain content may also carry a specialty fee, depending on its subject matter. Before proceeding, please familiarize yourself with the two drawing styles I offer.

TOONY -OR- REALISTIC

The image on the left is in my toony style. The image on the right is my realistic style. Toony generally has a stronger focus on cute character expressions and big, shiny eyes for maximum charm. Realistic is as the name implies and is better for more mature-themed images and serious storytelling, with a greater focus on species differentiation and detail.

When commissioning me, you may choose which style you prefer. Both styles are rendered at full quality, and both are the same price. If no preference, I will go with what I feel best suits the character/scene.

Gesture Sketch - $10.00

Average Completion Window: Three-five days (sans additional complexities).A quick, loose, full-body gesture sketch that captures an overall feeling, movement, expression or idea, without focusing on details or technical accuracy. Certain features may be missing entirely from the drawing in favor of smooth, flowing lines. There may be overlapping intersections and/or light errors. Detailed markings/attire will not be present. Inorganic shapes (robotics, heavy armor, weaponry, etc.) do not qualify for this commission type. Sketch will be placed on a simple flat color or textured backdrop, and the lines may be colored. Image will convey a living concept clearly in as few strokes as possible. This is my equivalent to a "rough sketch."I will not provide a preliminary/rough draft to the client for review, as that's essentially what's being purchased here. At this price point, I do not have time for modifications & back and forth communication. Every other commission type I offer comes with a basic gesture free of charge for the client to review before I proceed to further refinements and completion.Commissioner will receive a private, watermark-free, high-resolution file. All recipient(s) of commission assets must agree to never share private, watermark-free file(s). Commissions of this tier will generally be 2000px in their largest dimension.$10.00 for a single character, $10.00 for each additional character. Background is not included.For an additional $6.00 (per character/drawing), I can apply flat colors beneath your gesture sketch.
Flats will define markings and other features that may be present on your character, which wouldn't otherwise be conveyed and translated through lines alone.For an additional $15.00 (per character/drawing), I can apply flat colors as well as basic shading to your sketch.

Refined Sketch - $35

Average Completion Window: One week (sans additional complexities).Cleaned and refined full-body sketches start out rough like a gesture sketch, but are then given a second pass with a sharper, more opaque brush and better focus on detail. Errors are corrected during this phase and the drawing is tightened up nicely. Markings and other details will be conveyed through line in this commission type. Your sketch will have a basic flat color or textured backdrop.This commission comes with a free gesture sketch (of character only) for the client to review before I clean it up and complete it. I will take feedback once and apply changes to the drawing, if need-be. Client may not ask for changes more than once, nor may they request changes after the commission has already been completed (unless an obvious and avoidable error was made on my part, given my initial instructions). I will not provide WIP shots, as once feedback has been received during the sketch phase, I complete the commission in one sitting. Wait times are to cover other commissions in the queue.Commissioner will receive a private, watermark-free, high-resolution file. All recipient(s) of commission assets must agree to never share private, watermark-free file(s). Commissions of this tier will generally be 2000px in their largest dimension.$35.00 for a single character, $25.00 for each additional character. Background is not included by default, but I may imply a simple one with the shading option. Complex backgrounds will cost extra.For an additional $10.00 (per character/drawing), I can apply flat colors to your cleaned sketch, if you desire.For an additional $20.00 (per character/drawing), I can apply flat colors as well as basic shading to your sketch.

Icon Commission - $95.00

Average Completion Window: Two weeks (sans additional complexities).Fully-rendered 2500x2500px icon featuring any character of your choice, with a basic background. Character is drawn from approximately the shoulders-up (though I may personally elect to paint more). Arms and hands are not included in icons or badges unless client pays extra. You get to choose the character's expression, and the general mood of the piece. Choice of background will be mostly left up to me, but you may suggest an overall theme/color scheme to be used. Providing a clear example of an icon you see in my gallery that matches up with what you're after will definitely help me out if you have something particular in mind. Please provide links to such examples if applicable, as I may not know which piece you're referring to if mentioned by name only.This commission comes with a free gesture sketch (of character only) for the client to review before I clean it up and complete it. I will take feedback once and apply changes to the drawing, if need-be. Client may not ask for changes more than once, nor may they request changes after the commission has already been completed (unless an obvious and avoidable error was made on my part, given my initial instructions). I will not provide WIP shots, as once feedback has been received during the sketch phase, I complete the commission in one sitting. Wait times are to cover other commissions in the queue.Commissioner will receive a private 2500x2500 watermark-free file, a smaller public file that they can post and share online, and an FA-friendly 100x100 GIF icon. I may crop and sharpen the FA icon myself, and in some instances brighten it up so that it appears better in a smaller size. This is done as a convenience, but it may be cropped differently for the purpose of a personal avatar if the client decides to do so on their own.Recipient(s) of commission assets must agree to never share private, watermark-free file(s).This option is not always available but you can inquire about it! For $150 total, I can paint your icon as usual and also turn your icon into a physical con-badge with custom lettering, then mail it to you (this offer is limited to those located in the continental US only, see below this paragraph for other options). I ask that I'm given an additional week to process and mail out badge commissions. You'll receive two separate badge types in one single order. First badge type will be professional size 3"x4" inside of a clear vinyl grommeted badge holder, with a pouch for three business cards on the back. The second size is larger at 5"x7" for fursuiters, and is laminated with a large metal grommet. A basic lanyard will be included and it works with either badge. Badges are printed using professional-grade printing equipment, fade-resistant inks and thick photo media with a color-calibrator for perfect accuracy. Prints are also entirely waterproof, and are created using the original source file, for unmatched definition. Again, this offer is available only to continental US residents. If you've had an icon made by me previously and would like it turned into a badge, there will be a charge of $50.00.If you want a badge, and are unable to receive packages in the US (or would just prefer the file), for $120 total I can create a custom, watermark-free 3x4 aspect HD digital printing badge file only for you with lettering of your choice. This image file will be e-mailed to you, which you can then print out and use to create the badge yourself. This file is for your own personal use and is never to be used for profit or shared publicly.

Dual Icon Commission - $150

Completion window: Three weeks (sans additional complexities).The same as an Icon Commission (above), only double the fun (and at a hefty discount)! Double-width icon file will be designed to split right down the middle (between two characters) with a matching background (you may request general atmosphere). Characters can be facing towards each other, or away from each other. Great for friends, couples, or even rivals! This commission type will come with a full painting, as well as separate crops featuring each side of the image (left and right). Each side of the painting will be a perfect 1:1 square at 2500 x 2500px resolution (private file only, public version will be smaller). Can feature you and that special someone in your life-- be it a friend, lover, or something else! Characters will be posed to interact in some way, unless requested otherwise. Pose is up to you! FA-friendly icon files will be included, for convenience.Please check my ToS regarding painting characters that do not directly belong to you, if you haven't already.Due to the added width of dual icons, shoulders will barely be visible (if at all). This is in order to retain more focus on the characters than background(s) when placed side-by-side (centered).Commissioner will receive a private, watermark-free, high-resolution file. All recipient(s) of commission assets must agree to never share private, watermark-free file(s).Badges are typically only available for single icon orders but you may inquire about this option if you wish!

Half-Body Illustration (Portrait) - $175

Average Completion Window: Three weeks (sans additional complexities).You will receive a fully rendered painting featuring your character(s) with a basic abstract or organic background (as pictured). Character(s) will be drawn from approximately the waist-up. This commission type will put your character at the forefront of the image, with less emphasis on background elements. You may specify what general environment you'd like your character(s) to be in, and the overall mood, as well as basic pose. Half-body illustrations of this type will favor portrait (vertical) orientation, to maintain focus on the character(s). Inorganic/indoor backgrounds are optional, but will carry at least one additional complexity fee.Each additional character in the scene will cost $125.00 as a baseline. The canvas will simply grow wider to accommodate more characters. Background will remain simple, secondary focus.This commission comes with a free gesture sketch (unless client has paid for a complex background, sketch will likely be of character only) for review and approval before I clean it up and complete it. I will take feedback once and apply changes to the drawing, if need-be. Client may not ask for changes more than once, nor may they request changes after the commission has already been completed (unless an obvious and avoidable error was made on my part, given my initial instructions). I will not provide WIP shots, as once feedback has been received during the sketch phase, I complete the commission in one sitting. Half-Body Illustration (Landscape) - $220

Average Completion Window: Three weeks (sans additional complexities).You will receive a beautiful landscape painting with your character in it (if you so choose). Character(s) will be drawn from approximately the waist-up, and can be either facing away from the viewer, or towards (but they will always be placed in the foreground, with the exception of a character being used as a very distant, low-detail scale figure). This commission type will have a heavy focus on the background, creating an interesting environment and backdrop for your character. These scenes typically help convey an interesting story. You may specify what general environment you'd like your character(s) to be in, and the overall mood, as well as basic pose. Half-body illustrations of this type will favor landscape (horizontal) orientation, to maintain focus on the background. Inorganic/indoor backgrounds are optional, but will carry at least one additional complexity fee.Each additional character in the scene will cost $90.00 as a baseline.This commission comes with a free gesture sketch (of character and basic idea of background) for review and approval before I clean it up and complete it. I will take feedback once and apply changes to the drawing, if need-be. Full-Body Illustration - $315

Average Completion Window: Four weeks (sans additional complexities).This commission type is for a fully rendered painting featuring your character(s) in full view with an organic background. Outdoor/natural scenes are my specialty, and as such the background is a free extra to complement your character. You may specify what environment you'd like your character(s) to be in, portrait or landscape orientation, the general mood/colors, the poses, everything! If you require an indoor/manmade scene or more architectural/technical details, I can certainly do that for you, but extra fees will apply.Each additional character in the scene will cost $100.00 as a baseline.This commission comes with a preliminary draft (of both character and very rough indication of background & composition) for the client to review before I clean it up and complete it. I will take feedback up to two times and apply changes to the drawing, if need-be. (This means that if adjustments were needed once, I will come back with the changes requested and allow a chance at further modifications a second time.) Client may not ask for changes more than twice, nor may they request changes after the commission has already been completed (unless an obvious and avoidable error was made on my part, given my initial instructions). I will not provide WIP shots, as once feedback has been received during the sketch phase, I typically complete the commission in one sitting. Artistic Freedom Commission - $200

Average Completion Window: 2-3 weeksAs the name suggests, this commission tier is for a rendered painting of your character, directed and composed entirely by me. If this commission type is selected, the client is expected to fully trust in my artistic ability and imagination.Artistic Freedom Commissions are experimental in nature and will have a primary focus on feeling, rather than particular subject. That said, your character will be a central focus of the piece, meaning it will occupy a good portion of the canvas.This commission type is unique in that it does not carry complexity fees. It is one flat price, regardless of your character's complexity.Client may suggest a single-word prompt along with their character. For example: lights, cold, dancing, outdoors, happy, etc. Alternatively, client may provide the name of a song that I can use as inspiration for the painting. Note that Artistic Freedom Commissions will be free of nudity/sexual themes and violence. Mild blood/dark themes are okay if requested.Painting could be rough around the edges with certain details obscured. Painting may feature your character in full-body or it may be close-up. May have a detailed background or a painterly, abstract one. Style could be realistic or toony. These are all decisions made by the artist.Client will not receive WIP (work-in-progress) shots with this commission type. That said, client is within their right (and encouraged!) to request changes to the final piece if any (avoidable) character-related errors are made.Commissioner will receive a private, watermark-free, high-resolution file.
